Pre-school admits children aged approximately 3 to 6 throughout the school year.

Neither English nor German language knowledge is required for acceptance into COLE Pre-school

We are happy to offer our children large, light, and child-friendly rooms with a garden and park for them to play and learn in.

The children's learning room has an abundance of materials to help our ‘yellow-winged’ pre-school owls learn core subjects, such as literacy, maths, science, geography, art and crafts. The play room is well-equipped to suit every age group.

In the Pre-school we endeavour to keep the group to a maximum of 16 students and with two to three teaching staff in order to ensure qualitative learning. Our dedicated teachers use an eclectic methodology and a combination of COLE self-developed materials and COLE curriculum, as well as following the British and Austrian curricula.

We are pleased to say that we are also a teacher training facility for EU Erasmus students. We enjoy the diversity and co-operation that trainee teachers from universities in Europe bring to the pre-school.

As is customary in British pre-schools, our children will also wear a designated school uniform. A simple uniform (white shirt or polo-shirt, navy blue jeans/trousers/skirt, navy blue jumper/fleece) with school crests attached is  obligatory. Crests can be purchased in the office at a cost price of 2 Euros/piece. Emblems must be attached on the left breast pocket ofshirts and jumpers. As this clothing is readily available in most clothing shops parents are free to buy from whichever store they prefer.
